Gateway PCMF aims to bring men together as a united Christian force, for fellowship, exchange of ideas concerning matters of faith, witness and service to Jesus Christ and other men. In line with the Presbyterian Church Men Fellowship:

  • Our Vision : Spiritual maturity of man and service to the glory of God
  • Our Mission : To be a united Christian force of men for faith, witness and service to Jesus Christ and Humanity.
  • Our Philosophy : We believe in Men being the best as God intended.
  • Core Values : Honesty, Integrity, Zeal , Humility, Commitment, Excellence in Christ, Moral uprightness
  • Main Goal : Restoring the family to the original intentions of God.

For PCMF to achieve its vision and mission, we have prayerfully come up with 8 programmes as working tools.

Core Programs

1. Spiritual

  • Evangelism
  • Discipleship
  • Equipping men for ministry
  • Commission men to the field.

2. Mentorship of the boy child – From 10 to 21 years

Our activities include

  • Feasting with the boys (Kirugu)
  • Sports activities with and for boys
  • Extra tuition for boys during school holidays
  • PCMF men and boys in Church School
  • Children Evangelistic activities to reach boys in the community
  • Rite of passage
  • Seminars and retreats

3. Man and Health

  • Physical fitness
  • Bodily health
  • Mental health

Our activities include

  • Sports and games
  • Medical check-ups
  • Seminars relating to health.

4. Family Life

Our activities include

  • Seminars
  • Retreats

In this Programme, we deal with young adults, young couples, single parents, midlife couples and senior couples.

5. Environment Justice

Our activities include

  • Planting trees
  • Tree nurseries
  • Recycling of waste materials like plastic and others
  • Educational seminars on environment.

6. Educational Programme

Our activities include

  • TEE
  • Bible Study Fellowship (BSF)
  • Information Technology (IT)
  • Any other relevant educational programme

7. Economic Empowerment for Men and Families

Our actvities include

  • SACCO movements
  • Self-help groups
  • Trade/Commerce
  • Food companies

Groups to work with:

  • Young men including those who quit drugs and alcohol abuse
  • Men in the Church
  • Single parents
  • Professionals in the Church and community
  • NGOs and government agencies.

8. Campaign against Drugs and Alcohol Abuse

Our activities include

  • Gathering addicts for seminars
  • Public awareness campaigns e.g mugithi, barazas etc.
  • Seminars for families, boys from 10-21 years, young adults, fathers and single parents
  • Evangelistic activities like witnessing through crusades, singing, video shows etc.

Groups to work with:

  • Young adults (bachelors)
  • Single parents
  • Families
  • Addicts and recovering addicts.

Organizations:

  • PCEA Church
  • NGOs
  • NACADA
  • County leaders
  • Police Department
  • Community

Membership

  • Membership is open to all male members of the church in full communion.
  • Non-communicant members are received as Associate members
  • The Junior Fellowship comprises unmarried members who desire to join the Fellowship.

Activities

Members of the Fellowship shall are expected to:

  • Pray regularly (preferably with their families)
  • Read the Bible daily (alone or with others)
  • Attend Fellowship meetings at all times.
  • Seek to be true disciples of Jesus Christ at all times.
  •  Render manual and other service to the Church.
  • Sincerely adhere to the decisions made by the respective fellowship to which one belongs.
  • Join in any other activities as the Fellowship may determine in the furtherance of the agreed objectives.

Motto 

The fellowship Motto is "Called to the Lord's Service," Based on Romans 12:11:-Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervour, serving the Lord.
