The ICT Committee was commissioned as part of Gateway's implementation of the 2011-2016 Strategic Plan which recommended enhanced ICT as a major action towards achieving the seven support Pillars of the Gateway Parish Strategic Plan which are Spiritual growth and maturity within the membership; Effective Message Delivery Structure; Extended and Consolidated Parish Presence; Youth and children participation and succession; Positive parish and community linkages; and Enhanced Financial Capacity to meet parish obligations.

ICT has great potential in effecting improved delivery environment and presentation within the Sanctuary and also in increasing service attendance opportunities to members and the wider community wherever they are. The ICT Committee has therefore been tasked with ensuring suitable audio visual equipment, establishing a website as a platform for communication and information among members and as a means to evangelize and grow the church, handle video and audio productions of sermons, and to handle bulletins, newsletters and other publications among other duties.
