Herebelow is a recent outing by the Teachers and Children:
The children are very active in Music festivals. They present Dramas, Solo Verses, Memory Verses, singing games & set pieces even at Presbyterial levels as well as during their Week in December each year. The children also visit one another as need arises. They have also participated & hosted Presbyterial church school events e.g. rallies.
The children have gone for several trips to various parts of the country i.e. Gitaru Hydro-Electric Power Plant & KCB Grounds for Presbyterial sports day. The yhave also visited homes for destitute children, teen mothers & also visited an elderly grandfather in 2011 who was happy to see them & blessed them.
Our Standard 8 children went through the Rites of Passage Experience and during the graduation were presented with Bibles and officially handed over the Youth Group.
The children have continued to receive gifts from Operation Christmas Child Kenya which included Bibles, assorted stationery and toiletries and they are very happy about this. The Teachers also held retreats over the years. They meet every 1st Sunday of the month after services to have fellowship as well as hold discussions pertaining to Church School.
